Tess has been working at Academy School in various roles for the last 9 years. She taught 5th grade for 5 years, 3rd grade for 2 1/2 years, 1st/2nd grade for 1/2 year and has been working as a special educator in the upper grades since last year. She enjoys building relationships with students, loves making learning as fun as possible, and helping students reach their "aha" moment. Tess believes students are best supported with a strong educational team around them, and loves being a part of that team for 4th and 5th graders this year.
