Enrichment - Spanish
Academy School Spanish Language Program serves as an introduction to language learning and strives to instill an awareness of different cultures, an appreciation of language/culture study, and motivation for further language study. We aim to create lifelong language learners through encouraging the development of foreign language skills early in life. To this end, Academy School offers Spanish language in grades 1-6. At Academy we strive to teach our students the importance of language study by engaging in meaningful cultural exploration projects. Program goals include enhancing reading development in both English and the target language, promoting global awareness and cultural understanding as well as meeting district, state and national foreign language standards.
