Print Making Fundraiser is an Artful Success!

April 5, 2016

To help raise finds for our Annual Academy School County Fair Day in May, the faculty got together on Thursday to learn about printmaking.  Our art teacher, Wendy Windle, introduced a printmaking method called Gelli Printing.  This is a  fun and exciting monoprint technique, and the group caught on quickly to produce amazing works of art.

It was wonderful to have members of our staff explore a new art medium, eat pizza, and enjoy an afternoon of camaraderie and creativity, while raising money for the County Fair Day.

There will be more of these workshops in the future.  If you are interested, please let Wendy know.
