Academic Enrichment
Academic Enrichment at Academy School supports students with advanced learning needs by providing supplementary curriculum and teaching in math and literacy.
Orly Hasbani
Orly Hasbani has been teaching in the enrichment room since the fall of 2017. From 2007 to 2017, she taught third grade at Academy School. Prior to that, she taught in Fairlee, VT for several years where she was also the science curriculum coordinator for the entire district. She received her masters degree in education from Antioch University and a BS from Tufts University where she studied biology and music. She was also premed but happily changed course after getting her undergraduate degree and hasn't regretted it since. She strives to infuse independence and critical thinking in her students in all areas of the curriculum.
